Hala Auji is a historian of art and material culture.
Hala Auji is a specialist in Islamic and Middle Eastern visual culture, design and the built environment. She recently completed her doctoral work in art history at Binghamton University, State University of New York, and also hold an MA in Criticism & Theory from Art Center College of Design and a BFA in graphic design from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She has taught undergraduate courses on non-western art, architecture and material culture that encompass a globally comparative and interdisciplinary approach.
